The Greenville County Coroner's Office confirmed that she was found unresponsive on August 16 at a residence in South Carolina, and despite paramedics' efforts, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CBS News.

The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was the "toxic effects" of fentanyl and other substances including Alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax, methocarbamol, and quetiapine. "No signs of trauma" were found to contribute to her death, in accordance with findings from the coroner's office, according to BBC and Los Angeles Times.
