A Chinese national was rescued from a hydropower tunnel 10 days after devastating floods in Nepal.

The Nepali army successfully rescued a Chinese national from a hydropower tunnel after 10 days since catastrophic floods struck Nuwakot town, resulting in over 1,300 fatalities and 5,600 individuals reported missing. On the same day, a total of three workers, including two Nepali nationals rescued a day prior, have been pulled from the Trishuli hydropower project, bringing hope to ongoing rescue operations. Additionally, a woman was rescued from the rubble of a nearby collapsed house, highlighting the extensive efforts of the rescue teams, which include advanced cooperation with South Korean disaster experts.
