Romanian prosecutors have formally indicted social media influencers Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate on several serious charges, including trafficking minors, money laundering, and sex with a minor, with their indictment announced on September 4. The indictments come after a lengthy investigation that began in December 2022, further escalating the legal troubles for the Tate brothers, who were arrested in Miami in late July following a UK extradition request on related charges.
