A man was arrested in Paris after attacking three women with knives near Porte de Clichy on Monday morning, leaving two of the victims severely wounded. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez confirmed that the women, aged 19, 24, and 36, were hospitalized, with one in critical condition, reportedly believed to be pregnant, as police were investigating the attack's motive which remained unclear according to Reuters and India Times.

The attack took place around 11:30 AM and was described as a shocking event on a busy street. The attacker, a 31-year-old man, was stopped by an off-duty police officer and bystanders, some of whom intervened by throwing items to disarm him, as reported by Le Monde and CBS News.
