Akash Tiwari, a 36-year-old Indian national, has been charged in Singapore for molestation and harassment of an air stewardess on a Singapore Airlines flight on February 9. Tiwari allegedly made inappropriate contact with the woman while she was serving him at his seat, prompting her to warn him to stop before attempting to distance herself in the galley area, according to Channel News Asia and South China Morning Post.

The situation escalated when Tiwari allegedly followed the stewardess into the galley, cornering her and continuing the harassment, causing significant distress. She shouted at him and left the galley but was followed by Tiwari into the aisle. Police were alerted to the incident on the same day, and officers arrested Tiwari at Changi Airport upon the aircraft's arrival.
