The PGA Tour has officially announced the appointment of Brian Rolapp as its first chief executive officer, with the transition expected to take place later this year as current Commissioner Jay Monahan prepares to step down at the end of 2026. Monahan stated, "We’ve found exactly the right leader in Brian Rolapp,” highlighting the collaborative effort in selecting him for the role, which is crucial for ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities according to Reuters and Channel News Asia.

Before his appointment, Rolapp spent two decades at the NFL, where he held various positions culminating as the chief media and business officer.
