Park City Mountain is experiencing significant disruptions as its ski patrol enters the third week of a strike, limiting lift operations and trail access.
Only 25 of 41 lifts and 103 of 350 trails are currently open, much to the dismay of ski enthusiasts after recent snowfall.
The striking ski patrollers, represented by the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association, demand a wage increase from $21 to $23 per hour.
Vail Resorts reports having raised patrol wages by 50 percent over the last four years but only offers a 4 percent increase in current negotiations.
