NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) successfully rescued nine members of a Mumbai-based family from drowning near Sangam.
The rescue occurred when NDRF personnel, conducting a mock drill, heard cries for help from a local boat stranded in the Ganga's strong current.
The family, which included individuals from various areas of Mumbai, was saved through the quick action of the NDRF team led by Deputy Inspector General Manoj Kumar Sharma.
Sharma praised the team’s commitment to service and highlighted the importance of their preparedness ahead of the Maha Kumbh.
