Charlie Hebdo is observing the **10th anniversary** of the **2015 terrorist attack**, which resulted in the deaths of 11 people.
The commemorative edition, numbered **1694**, will spotlight **freedom of expression** and includes contributions from **international cartoonists**.
A total of **300,000 copies** will be available for purchase for a two-week period, featuring **40 selected cartoons** from an international competition called **#LaughingAtGod**.
The special issue will also include insights from **Philippe Val**, former director of the newspaper, emphasizing the ongoing fight for freedom of expression.
On the evening of the release, a special broadcast from France 2 will debate the question, “**Are we all still Charlie?**” focusing on current threats to free speech.
