In a serious incident on Saturday morning in Delray Beach, Florida, a collision between a Brightline train and a fire truck left three firefighters and 12 train passengers injured. Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported.

The crash took place around 10:45 a.m. as the Delray Beach fire truck was responding to an emergency call. According to officials, the fire truck was crossing the intersection at East Atlantic Avenue when it was struck by the Brightline train, which operates a high-speed service between Miami and Orlando (ABC News).

Three firefighters were transported to a local hospital, and while two were initially in critical condition, their status has since been updated to stable. Additionally, the 12 passengers on the train, who suffered minor injuries, were also taken to the hospital with the assistance of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
