COPENHAGEN, Denmark — Danish police confirmed on Saturday their investigation into reports of around 20 drones spotted over the port of Koege, located southwest of Copenhagen. Regional authorities revealed that officers, who responded to reports from local witnesses, observed four large drones at the site on Friday night.
Witnesses mentioned that many drones subsequently vanished into Koege Bay at high speed. Authorities are attempting to ascertain the total number of drones and their ownership, noting that no permissions had been granted for drone flights in that area at the time.
This incident raises significant security concerns, particularly in light of recent Russian hybrid attacks detected across Europe and ongoing military actions linked to the war in Ukraine. Police are also looking into related drone sightings amidst these heightened security apprehensions. For more details, visit India Times.
