Punch, a rock band from Kolkata, unveiled their debut single Khwaab on December 29, accompanied by a live performance at a café.
The song narrates the journey of an aspiring dancer in pursuit of her dreams, reflecting themes of hope and perseverance.
Uniquely, Punch is the only rock group in India that integrates the sitar into their music, highlighting their innovative sound.
Vocalist Wriddh described the challenge of releasing a nine-minute song in today's fast-paced music landscape but emphasized the organic evolution of their creative process.
The launch event also featured live performances, including a stripped-down version of Khwaab and other original tracks by guest artists.
