President Joe Biden will travel to New Orleans on Monday following a tragic attack on January 1 that claimed the lives of 15 innocent people.
The assailant, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was identified as a U.S. citizen who acted alone and was linked to ISIS.
Biden plans to meet with grieving families and local officials to offer support after the violent events.
Jabbar's attack involved explosives and a premeditated vehicle ramming, echoing concerns about terrorist tactics resurging in the U.S.
This incident follows another violent event in Las Vegas, stirring heightened public apprehension around security for upcoming major events.

As outlined in The Hill, the increasing fears stem from a series of attacks that seem to follow a familiar but alarming pattern.
