  • The incident occurred around 2.15pm in the Roop Nagar area, involving an argument with Harvinder Singh, an electricity department employee.
  • During the confrontation, Singh fired two shots, with one bullet hitting Sharma in the abdomen.
  • Sharma was initially taken to Sarwal government hospital and later referred to Jammu GMC, where his condition is stable.
  • The police have registered a case and are investigating the motives behind the attack.
