Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Thailand's prime minister, has declared assets totaling £324 million, including an impressive collection of 217 designer handbags.
The declaration was submitted to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), a mandatory process for public officials.
In addition to the handbags, her wealth also includes 75 luxury watches, properties in London, land in Japan, and various luxury vehicles.
Paetongtarn reported liabilities nearing £117 million, resulting in a net worth of approximately £208 million.
The Shinawatra family has had a significant influence on Thai politics, continuing a legacy since Thaksin Shinawatra was elected prime minister in 2001.
