  • In November 2024, a deal was reached with Trevian, a Finnish real estate company, to purchase the arena, pending approval from local and EU authorities.
  • City officials highlighted a significant economic impact due to the arena's closure, which resulted in an estimated €400m loss in revenue from local businesses.
