The **Karnataka High Court** has put a hold on the drug abuse case against **Telugu actor Kolla Hema** linked to a rave party in Bengaluru from May last year.
The decision was made due to insufficient evidence, as the charges were based solely on a **co-accused's confession**, lacking corroborative material.
Justice Hemant Chandanagoudar stated that **no drugs** were seized from Hema, who was accused of consuming MDMA at the event.
Kolla Hema was initially arrested on **June 3** and later released on bail; charges against her involved misleading authorities during the investigation.
The court has allowed her application for a stay of proceedings while she seeks to quash the chargesheet filed against her and others.
