On Friday, an explosion at a military base in Viacha, Bolivia, resulted in at least 10 fatalities and left more than 62 people injured, officials reported. The blast occurred around 2:30 PM at a facility designated for storing pyrotechnic materials, with victims including both military personnel and civilians, according to South China Morning Post and Al Jazeera.

The Viacha health director, Rita Nebraska, indicated that 14 of the injured were transferred to hospitals in La Paz for treatment, including a young girl suffering from third-degree burns.
