Erin Piacenti, a vice president at Bank of America, was killed in a stabbing incident that took place in Times Square. The incident occurred around 4:30 PM when a woman wielding knives attacked Piacenti, alongside another victim—a 32-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man. The attacker was subsequently shot by police after they attempted to subdue her with a taser, which failed to halt her advance, reports indicate Al Jazeera and Reuters.
