An improvised explosive device detonated outside an Italian restaurant in central Moscow on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of at least three people, including a woman believed to have been carrying the bomb. The explosion occurred at around 8:10 PM local time near Balzi Rossi restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square, which was hosting a private function at the time, according to Indiatimes and CBS News.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that the unidentified woman attempted to enter the restaurant with the explosive device but was stopped by a security guard, shortly before the bomb detonated outside.
