The couple left their home near Brignoles amid concerns over the imminent threat to their property, which they purchased in 2021. Clooney expressed his worries in a letter to the town's mayor, stating, "We have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment" according to BBC and Reuters.
