A federal judge has granted bond to a **Virginia man**, Brad Spafford, accused of holding **extremist views** and possessing an unprecedented amount of **homemade explosives**.
During a **December 17 raid**, agents uncovered more than **150 pipe bombs** and various explosive devices on Spafford's **20-acre property** in Isle of Wight County.
Authorities initially arrested Spafford for a charge related to an **unregistered short-barrel rifle**, but further investigations revealed his extensive weapons cache.
Evidence included **lethal explosive devices** marked in a garage and a **backpack** containing pipe bombs alongside extremist slogans tied to far-right movements.
Prosecutors intend to file additional charges, as Spafford could face up to **10 years** for the current firearms charge alone.
