In a horrific incident in Suriname, nine individuals, including five children, were fatally stabbed during the night from Saturday to early Sunday. The attack took place in and around Paramaribo, with a police statement confirming the deaths of four adults alongside the children, raising alarm in the community, according to Indiatimes and Reuters.
The attack left a sixth child and another adult hospitalized with serious injuries. Police intervened, shooting the male suspect in the legs during his arrest after he attempted to attack the officers, according to CBS News and BBC.
