Ludwig Minelli, the founder of the Swiss right-to-die organization Dignitas, has passed away through assisted suicide at the age of 92, just days before his 93rd birthday. Dignitas confirmed the news, noting that Minelli dedicated his life to advocating for "freedom of choice, self-determination, and human rights." He founded the organization in 1998, facilitating assisted dying for over 4,000 individuals, including many from countries where such practices are illegal, according to BBC and South China Morning Post.
