Disney has officially announced a price increase for tickets to its theme parks, particularly during peak holiday periods. The price for a single-day ticket during busy times, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks, will rise to $224 at Disneyland Resort, marking an increase from $206. Currently, the top price for a single-day ticket at Disney World in Orlando is $199, with expectations that it will exceed this figure during the holidays in 2026, according to CBS News and Reuters.
The Disneyland Resort has implemented pricing changes across its various ticket tiers, with most experiencing increases of between 1.5% and 4.8%. Notably, five out of seven ticket tiers will see minor price hikes of 3% or less, while the lowest tier remains steady at $104, which has not changed for seven years. This year, Disneyland will also increase the number of days where this low price is applicable, enhancing accessibility during specific periods, as reported by Los Angeles Times and Reuters.
Magic Key annual passes, which provide year-round access, also saw substantial increases. The Inspire Key and Believe Key passes are now priced at $1,899 and $1,474, rising by $150 and $100, respectively. These price adjustments reflect Disney's strategy to manage demand during peak periods, emphasizing their commitment to offering "magical experiences" to all guests, according to CBS News and Los Angeles Times.
