A 61-year-old man died after being pulled into an MRI machine at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, New York, while wearing a heavy metal chain, according to Indiatimes and South China Morning Post. The incident occurred during an MRI scan when the chain, weighing approximately 20 pounds, was drawn into the machine's strong magnetic field.

Adrienne Jones-McAllister, the man's wife, reported that she was undergoing an MRI for her knee when she requested her husband, Keith, to assist her. Tragically, shortly after he entered the room, he was pulled into the machine.
