US singer Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to charges related to an alleged nightclub assault that occurred in London in February 2023. The 36-year-old appeared at Southwark Crown Court, reportedly declaring his plea by stating, “Not guilty, ma’am,” as prosecutors outlined the accusations of grievous bodily harm with intent against him, involving an alleged bottle attack on music producer Abraham Diaw. According to BBC, the incident involved Brown allegedly striking Diaw with a bottle and subsequently pursuing him for further assault.

Following his arrest in Manchester in May, Brown spent nearly a week in custody before being released on a £5 million (approximately $6.7 million) bail, which serves as a guarantee for his court appearances.
