China’s Premier Li Qiang announced on Saturday that China and Indonesia will promote "true multilateralism" during his visit to Jakarta, the capital of Southeast Asia's largest economy. During his visit, Premier Li noted that China has strengthened its partnerships in the region since the US announced tariffs, which have since seen some delays and pauses in enforcement. At a business leaders' gathering later that day, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that ties between China and Indonesia are crucial for regional stability.
