  • Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are in talks for a unification bout.
  • The match is expected to take place at Wembley Stadium on July 12.
  • Usyk holds the WBC, WBA, and WBO belts, while Dubois is the IBF champion.
  • This fight could serve as a rematch after Usyk's controversial win in 2023.
  • No contracts have been signed yet, and talks are ongoing.

Ukraine's heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is in negotiations with Britain's IBF champion Daniel Dubois for a unification bout slated for July 12 at Wembley Stadium, as reported by the BBC. Although the deal is in the works, no contracts have yet been signed.

Usyk, aged 38, is the holder of the WBC, WBA, and WBO belts after securing two significant victories over British boxer Tyson Fury. Their previous encounter in Poland concluded controversially, with Usyk winning by knockout in the ninth round amid disputes over low blow rules, according to Channel News Asia.

Dubois, 27, won the IBF title after Usyk vacated it last year and has since retained it with a knockout of Anthony Joshua in September. He was originally scheduled to fight Joseph Parker earlier this year but had to withdraw due to illness, cites the report from Reuters.
