Michael Wolff’s new book, titled All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, has ignited controversy with its portrayal of former President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk. During a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk's exuberant jump reportedly bewildered Trump. According to excerpts reported by both HuffPost and India Times, Trump reacted with disbelief, questioning, “What the f**k is wrong with this guy? And why doesn’t his shirt fit?”
The White House has fiercely defended Trump against Wolff’s claims, with Communications Director Steven Cheung branding Wolff a “lying sack of s**t” and dismissing his narratives as untrustworthy. In a statement to Salon, Cheung asserted that Wolff distorts facts, stating, “He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination.”
Wolff describes that Musk, appearing without much support, became a source of ridicule as his shirt "lifted" while he leaped joyfully on stage. This incident, alongside Trump's unfiltered remarks, has reignited discussions about the underlying tensions between Trump and Musk, who had earlier showed indifference towards Trump's then-running mate.
This isn’t the first time Wolff has drawn ire from Trump's camp, as his previous works have faced similar backlash for reported inaccuracies. Nevertheless, Wolff’s insights continue to spark debate about the dynamics of Trump’s political journey.
