A star-studded lineup of prominent artists, including Kid Rock and country singer Jason Aldean, has been announced to entertain at various presidential inauguration events this weekend in Washington, D.C.. The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee revealed the details of the lineup recently.
Kid Rock, a staunch supporter of the Trump administration, will perform alongside Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Greenwood, and The Village People at the Make America Great Again Rally scheduled for Sunday at the Capital One Arena. This exciting gathering will also feature a choir from Liberty University. Greenwood expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The pageantry is wonderful. I’m excited about all of that,” underscoring his honor to sing for President Trump again.
Meanwhile, Aldean, known for his hit song "Try That in a Small Town," is set to perform at The Liberty Ball on Monday evening, where he will share the stage with The Village People and a special surprise guest.
On the day of the swearing-in ceremony, previously confirmed acts including Carrie Underwood, who will perform "America the Beautiful," and opera tenor Christopher Maccio, set to deliver the National Anthem, will also grace the stage alongside Greenwood.
The Commander-in-Chief Ball, dedicated to military service members, will feature the popular country group Rascal Flatts alongside Parker McCollum. Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox shared his excitement on Instagram, reflecting on his previous performance at Trump's first inauguration and promising a memorable night for attendees. The Starlight Ball, aimed at high-profile donors, rounds out the events with a performance from Gavin DeGraw, celebrated for his hit "I Don’t Want to Be," known from the CW series "One Tree Hill."
Trump's inaugural celebrations in 2017 had already set a high bar with performances from notable acts such as the Rockettes and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
