A tenant's investigation into unusually high electricity bills resulted in the grim discovery of a six-month-old murder case in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
The decomposed body of Pinky alias Pratibha Prajapati was found inside a refrigerator in a rented room, previously occupied by a man named Sanjay Patidar.
This discovery occurred after the current tenant, Balveer Rajput, gained permission to access locked rooms in the house where he lived with his family.
Pinky was reportedly murdered by Patidar during a conflict over marriage and her body was concealed in the fridge before he fled the property.
The police arrested Patidar after the body was discovered, and they are working with authorities to track his suspected accomplice.
