  • Raimondo emphasized that this marks the first time advanced chips are manufactured on American soil, matching Taiwan's quality and yield.
  • TSMC is also set to produce superior two-nanometer technology at a second fab in Arizona, expected to commence production by 2028.
  • The U.S. aims to manufacture 20% of the world’s leading-edge logic chips by 2030, a drastic increase from zero percent.
