Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord has officially declared for the NFL draft after a stellar season with the Orange.
He achieved a national-best of 4,779 passing yards, setting a new ACC single-season record previously held by Deshaun Watson.
McCord's impressive performance also includes being named to the AP’s all-bowl team for his remarkable 453 yards and five touchdowns in the Holiday Bowl.
The Orange finished the season with a 10-3 record, thanks in part to McCord's 34 touchdown passes, ranking him fourth nationally.
He thanked coach Fran Brown, citing his time at Syracuse as an “incredible journey”, and expressed pride in contributing to the team's revival.
