Nathan MacKinnon shined with a goal and his NHL-leading 53rd assist to help the Colorado Avalanche secure a 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
Mikko Rantanen and Logan O’Connor also contributed with a goal and an assist each, while Ross Colton, Parker Kelly, and Artturi Lehkonen scored for the Avalanche.
The game saw the Avalanche dominate the ice, especially in the second and third periods, limiting the Wild to 12 shots on goal in the first two periods.
