Scientists have discovered **the largest dinosaur trackway site** in the UK located in a quarry in Oxfordshire, dating back **166 million years**.
Approximately **200 dinosaur footprints** were retrieved, indicating the presence of two species: the long-necked **Cetiosaurus** and the smaller meat-eater **Megalosaurus**.
The longest trackways measure **150 meters**, with the potential to extend further as excavation continues.
This discovery aligns with the **200th anniversary** of the Megalosaurus, the first dinosaur described in 1824 in Oxfordshire.
Scientists utilized **drone technology** to gather images and plan for the creation of **3D models** of the footprints, enhancing our understanding of these extinct creatures.
