NEW LISBON, Wis. — Authorities captured Virgil Thew, a 47-year-old man sought in connection with the brutal slayings of Elizabeth Kolba, 33, and two young girls, aged 12 and 13, in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. The arrest occurred on Thursday shortly after a suspicious person was reported in Elroy, approximately 12 miles from the murder scene, leading to an increased police presence in the area.
