Giorgia Meloni has confirmed her invitation to Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, stating she is open to attending if her schedule permits.
During a press conference, Meloni expressed enthusiasm about participating but emphasized the need to evaluate her other commitments.
She noted that she is not the only far-right European figure expected to attend, with Éric Zemmour and Hungary's Viktor Orbán also receiving invitations.
Meloni highlighted her strong relationship with Trump, having met him recently at an event in Paris and previously visiting Mar-a-Lago.
Regarding other topics, Meloni defended Elon Musk's involvement in politics and downplayed concerns about wealthy individuals influencing democracies.
