The funeral for former President Jimmy Carter will take place at the National Cathedral, with multiple ceremonies held nationwide.
Carter, who passed away on December 29 at the age of 100, will be honored by all four living former presidents, including President-elect Donald Trump.
President Biden, a close colleague of Carter, will deliver a eulogy, emphasizing Carter's humanitarian efforts and the impact he had worldwide.
The service is part of a national day of mourning, declared by President Biden in memory of Carter.
Carter's remains will later be transported back to Georgia for a private burial ceremony in his hometown of Plains.
