The order included a 5L + 1L pack of oil, priced at ₹1,072, but only the 5L pack was delivered.
When the customer lodged a complaint, Blinkit offered a ₹100 coupon, which was viewed as insufficient compensation for the missing litre.
Blinkit defended their offer by stating the 1-litre was a free add-on with no assigned value, prompting discussions about customer rights vs. company policies.
After further communication, the customer received a refund of ₹180, deemed a "one-time special permission" by Blinkit, which left him sarcastically bemused.
