Hilton revealed the loss of her home, where she created precious memories with her husband, Carter Reum, and their two children, Phoenix and London, both aged 2. She recounted how "sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience." Her heartfelt response highlighted the overwhelming nature of the tragedy, noting the home was filled with the family's cherished moments.
The wildfires, deemed the most destructive in Los Angeles' history, have resulted in the evacuation of over 100,000 residents and claimed at least five lives. She also conveyed gratitude that her family remained safe amid the chaos. Hilton praised the "brave firefighters and first responders" who have been fighting to contain the fires, calling them "true heroes" for their dedication and sacrifices.
As the fires continue to rage, Hilton urged others in affected areas to adhere to evacuation orders, reminding everyone to cherish their loved ones because "you never know when everything could change." Her advocacy group, 11:11 Media Impact, is working with nonprofit organizations to provide aid to the communities impacted by these devastating fires.
"Let's protect one another and hold onto hope that these fires will soon be contained," Hilton concluded, sending strength and love to all those affected.
