LOS ANGELES, Jan 8 - The NHL's Los Angeles Kings have officially postponed their home game against the Calgary Flames due to (Reuters), as the region grapples with devastating wildfires that have resulted in evacuation orders for over 100,000 individuals and have claimed at least five lives. The Los Angeles Kings expressed their solidarity with the community, emphasizing, "Our hearts are with our entire Los Angeles community."

The fires, exacerbated by fierce winds, have stretched local firefighting resources to their limits, forcing residents to conserve water and making aerial support nearly impossible.
