South Western Railway (SWR) has announced significant changes to train services from January 17 to April 16 due to track maintenance on the Castle Rock-Kulem section.
Several major routes will experience partial cancellations and diversions, affecting services like the Shalimar-Vasco Da Gama Express.
The Tirupati/Hyderabad-Vasco Da Gama weekly Express will only run to Hubballi, along with the Secunderabad-Vasco Da Gama bi-weekly Express.
Trains including the Pune-Ernakulam Poorna and Vasco Da Gama-Velankanni Weekly Express will be diverted on alternate routes.
Officials emphasize the maintenance work is crucial for the safety and efficiency of the railway network in the region.
