  • Tigress Zeenat's journey, which began on December 8 after straying from Odisha's Similipal, ended with her capture in Bengal.
  • After five previous failed attempts to tranquilize her, officials successfully apprehended Zeenat at Gosaindihi village around 3:56 PM on Sunday.
  • She traveled nearly 300 kilometers, passing through Odisha, Jharkhand, and Bengal as officials worked to deter her from populated areas.
  • Following her capture, Zeenat was transported by vehicle for 200 kilometers to Kolkata's Alipore zoo, where she will undergo health checks.
