LIV Golf has announced its comprehensive 2025 schedule, featuring a blend of international and domestic events that include six tournaments across the United States. The expanded AP News details that the newly revealed segments will coincide with key dates in the PGA Tour, including the final three events aligning with the FedEx Cup playoffs.
The 2025 season kicks off on February 6 in Saudi Arabia and spans multiple countries, ultimately culminating in the United States with events in Virginia, Florida, and Michigan. Returning stops will include the prominent Trump National Doral in Miami from April 4-6 and Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia, from June 6-8—chosen for its prestige after hosting the Solheim Cup and multiple Presidents Cups. LIV's executive vice president, Ross Hallett, emphasized the league's commitment to both historic and contemporary golf venues, stating, "Our global calendar continues to expand with a focus on playing the very best golf courses."
The schedule not only highlights U.S. tournaments but also showcases international venues in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, and England. LIV Golf's season will conclude with its final three events: Bolingbrook Golf Club in Illinois from August 8-10, The Club at Chatham Hills in Indiana from August 15-17, and the season-ending team championship at The Cardinal in Plymouth, Michigan, on August 22-24—this coinciding with the PGA Tour's prestigious events in the same timeframe.
With an aim to create an engaging and competitive atmosphere in the golfing landscape, LIV Golf solidifies its place within the sport, as indicated by the ongoing battle for fan engagement amidst global tournaments.
